"Antarctica: Beyond the Ice" to screen at Woods Hole Film Festival August 2

A special work-in-progress screening of Antarctica: Beyond the Ice, a documentary film produced by the Rutgers Film Bureau at the Rutgers Center for Digital Filmmaking, will be screened at the Woods Hole Film Festival on August 2, 2014.

This interdisciplinary educational project, funded in part by the National Science Foundation (NSF), partners the film bureau with the Rutgers Institute for Marine and Coastal Sciences to present a documentary featuring the NSF's Long-Term Ecological Research Project at Palmer Station in the west Antarctic Peninsula. Twelve Rutgers students earned professional production credits as co-editors and assistant producers for their work on the feature-length film.
