    3. Schedule an Audition & Interview
    • Prospective students must submit a Rutgers Graduate Admissions Application in order to schedule an audition and interview.
    • About five days after submitting the Rutgers Graduate Application applicants will receive an email from Mason Gross admissions inviting them to complete a “Supplemental Application.” This is an application/registration for the audition and interview. A series of audition dates, including a video audition option, will be displayed for selection.
    • If an email regarding the Mason Gross Supplemental Application (audition/interview application) is not received, please check your spam before contacting Colleen Klein, Graduate Program Administrative Assistant: Colleen.K@rutgers.edu
    • Registration for live auditions is limited. It is recommended that EdM applicants submit the Rutgers Graduate Admissions Application by November 15 for the December audition, December 15 for the January audition and January 15 for the February audition.

    • Live auditions are highly recommended, however individuals living more than four hours distance from Rutgers may consider the video audition option. Instructions on what to prepare and how to submit the video are included on the Mason Gross Supplemental Application (audition/interview application) approximately five days after submitting the Rutgers Graduate Application.  If the video audition video is deemed inconclusive, an applicant may be required to attend a live audition.
