The audition program should consist of selections from the following four categories. Specific composers of concerti and etudes are offered simply as suggestions to elucidate the type of repertoire that would comprise an acceptable audition program; however, candidates should not feel compelled to limit their program to compositions of the composers listed. Instead, audition programs should be comprised of works which most effectively display an applicant's ability. Memorization of categories #1 and #2 is compulsory.
