Talent Assessment

In addition to the general undergraduate admissions procedures, students applying to the Visual Arts program must submit a portfolio.

Applicants receive admissions decisions from the Office of University Undergraduate Admissions shortly after Portfolio Review Day if all pertinent information has been received by the Admissions Office.

Transfer Applications


Transfer applicants to the Visual Arts program must complete the admission requirements described previously and, in addition, must submit official high school and college transcripts. Transfer students from other accredited institutions may receive credit for courses that are equivalent in content and credit to courses offered in the Mason Gross School of the Arts curriculum and passed with the equivalent of a Rutgers University grade of C or better. There is a three-year residency requirement for transfer students.
