GENERAL INFORMATION:

WHERE: Rutgers New Brunswick
WHEN: Saturday, April 5th, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In addition to the University sponsored events including tours and the opportunity to sample fare at dining halls, Mason Gross will be offering special activities for our admitted B.F.A. and B.M. students. Current Mason Gross students and faculty will be accessible and look forward to speaking with you about our amazing school and answer any questions you may have.  Here's a sneak peak of what we have planned:

  • Guests will kick off their day with Dean George Stauffer, Dean of Students Casey Coakley, Admissions Director Mandy Feiler, Admissions Associate, Kara Golden and current Mason Gross students of Dance, Music, Theater and Visual Arts at a meet and greet welcome presentation in Nicholas Music Center.
  • Students, Parents, Family Members and Friends will be able to attend information sessions about our 4 departments, see first hand what current students are producing, and take tours of the Mason Gross Mile - which includes Mason Gross Facilities, portions of the Douglass Residential College and a peek inside the New Gibbons Dormitory. 
  • DANCE B.F.A. STUDENTS will meet faculty, staff and students attend a dance specific info session and observe performances of our student's current choreography projects in progress.
  • MUSIC B.M. will attend a music info session with faculty and staff - meet the Associate Director of our Music Department, Darryl Bott       , , and Peggy Barbarite, Admissions and Scholarship Administrator for music and current students, as well as attend a recital performance from our current students.
  • THEATER B.F.A. will be able to see a rehearsal, observe design projects in progress, tour our facilities and meet with current students and faculty members. 
  • VISUAL ARTS B.F.A. can tour our Civic Square facilities, observe studio work and attend an info/Q & A session with Visual Arts students, faculty and staff.
  • B.A. Students will be able to tour facilities and attend a information session about BA curriculum and requirements. 
  • FINISH THE DAY TOURING OUR DORMS AND SOCIALIZING WITH FACULTY, STAFF, AND FELLOW ADMITS AT THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT SPONSORED BBQ!
