Exterior view of Voorhees Chapel Interior view of Voorhees Chapel Altar view in Voorhees Chapel This Georgian Colonial Chapel in the Christopher Wren tradition, founded in 1925, is one of the most distinctive buildings on campus. It was made possible by a gracious gift from Elizabeth Rodman Voorhees. Its stately white spire catches the eye from anywhere on campus. It is the site of college ceremonies, student assemblies, weddings and religious services, musical concerts and other programs by artists, scholars and speakers.
High arched ceilings and classical details give excellent acoustics. Houses a German Schuke organ, installed in 1976 and one of only very few in the United States. Voorhees Chapel is also available for rental by the Douglass Residential College. Click here for more information. For directions to the venue, click here. Chapel Drive
