Sophia Ennocenti

Sophia Ennocenti is a graduate of Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts where she earned her Master of Music in flute performance under the tutelage of Bart Feller. Ms. Ennocenti previously attended Ithaca College where she earned her Bachelor of Music in music education and flute performance. Sophia is passionate about teaching and has experiences ranging from private instruction in woodwind, brass and percussion instruments, to concert band, general music, and early childhood instruction. Ms. Ennocenti has held teaching positions in Central New York and has taught flute privately since 2010. A believer in being an active performer-teacher, Sophia thrives as a chamber musician, being part of many collective chamber music initiatives and new music commissions. Sophia’s studies have also brought her to numerous masterclasses and music festivals across the United States and abroad such as Paris, Salzburg, Estes Park, Florence, New York, Carmel Valley, and more. Sophia’s principal teachers include Bart Feller, Wendy Herbener-Mehne, and Jan Angus.
