Music Theory Classes

Courses offered at the Extension Division
Elementary Music Theory:  Level 1 | Level 2
Music Theory:  Level 3  | Level 4

Music theory classes at the Extension Division are recommended for students ages 10-18.  Small class sizes allow instructors to provide individualized instruction appropriate to the student's development level.

Our music theory classes utilize curriculum from the renowned Royal Conservatory Music Development Program (RCMDP).  This curriculum presents a comprehensive approach to music theory that provides students of all levels with the tools they need to become well-rounded musicians.  Classes are also designed to prepare students for RCMDP Academic Assessments through clear and concise lessons that feature language appropriate for students at each stage of their development. The Extension Division is proud to be a Founding School of the RCMDP. Assessments are held on campus annually for students of all levels of advancement.
