Rachel Levine Podhorcer

Rachel Levine Podhorcer began playing violin at the age of 4. Her musical education began in the Suzuki method, which has shaped her outlook on the performance and study of music as well as children's educational needs. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Brandeis University, where she studied with Daniel Stepner. She went on to receive her Suzuki Teacher Training at the School for Strings in New York City, where she studied with Allen Lieb and Ekaterina Gerson.
